Roger's Bio
Roger is one of the founders of NetSystems and has a love for computers. Prior to establishing NetSystems he worked in both the automotive industry and the custom plastic thermoforming industry. In the automotive industry he was involved with both sales and finance. Working in the plastics thermoforming industry he was involved in the manufacture of custom medical equipment housings, protective packaging and also as an alternate supplier for a number of replacement parts for various military agencies.
Roger has a passion for understanding client needs and enjoys helping them keep their systems running smoothly. He feels it is less expensive to tackle small problems and resolve them before they become big issues. One of his favorite quotes is: “There is a difference between cheap and inexpensive.”
Raised in Arizona, Roger has lived in California, Utah and Texas before moving to this area 28 years ago. He and his wife of 42 years (he still can’t believe she has put up with him for so long) have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. They are active in their church where Roger is currently serving as Sunday School President.
Roger’s favorite method of cooking is grilling, and it almost doesn’t matter what. He also enjoys finding good local specialty restaurants where ever he travels, especially if the food is spicy!
James's Bio
A teacher at heart, James is one of the rare Information Technology Professionals who is bi-lingual – he speaks both “Geek” and “Plain English” fluently.
Prior to the founding of NetSystems James was a staff trainer for a Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center. There he taught classes to people who were themselves preparing for technical certification examinations. As one who loves teaching James has traveled throughout the United States delivering technical Instruction on a wide range of subjects – including presenting for Microsoft at COMDEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In his present role at NetSystems James has a broad range of responsibilities including new product development/testing, and technical services delivery. Though he is passionate about Information Technology – he calls it “brain candy’ – his greatest professional satisfaction is using technology to positively impact the lives of people.
